I have a 2yr old black lab Baliey that loves to take dishes out of the sink, I have caught him with a few steak knives. He is famous for eating scissors, expensive shoes only (won't touch cheap ones), he has somehow figured out how to get in the fridge once and ate things from the freezer, ate my bra, loves bamboo utensils, batteries, remotes, and if you leave the pantry open, forget it.. Needless to say I keep the house clean and no food on the bottom shelves of the pantry. Still love this dog since he makes me laugh, I have my own black Marley. Nice having a 110lb dog who thinks he can fit on your lap! Best pound puppy ever.

When my 4 year old lab was a puppy he ate my wall. not at a corner or anything easy like that, not just destroying it (as puppy's will do) but he ATE MY WALL...years have gone by and he still eats strange stuff...and my hubby still hasn't forgiven him for eating a square foot chunk out of out wall!

I have a Jack Russell Terrier instead of a Labrador, but he definitely has weird eating habits. I see him eating dust bunnies on the floor all the time, and he reeeally has a bad habit of eating string, or any lint on the floor.

As far as he's concerned, if it fits in his mouth, it's food.
