The expression "man's best friend" just doesn't cut it; he was part of our family. Our two daughters couldn't remember life without a canine companion, and although we wanted to "wait", we got our new female yellow lab puppy on Dec 10th, 2009. She's beautiful. She snuggles and sleeps, pounces and plays; pees in our house (Ugh!) when we're errant in taking her out. She cries at night, but we know this "baby" stuff won't last forever. She is a beautiful, loving girl and has a friendly, curious, and content little face. Why would anyone want any other kind of dog, I wonder?
